The Book Group @ The Viktor Frankl Centre Northern Ireland – Inaugural Meeting

Our first online Logotherapy Book Group gathering will take place on Sunday, 9th November 2025 at 7pm (GMT). We’ll be discussing 'When Breath Becomes Air' by Paul Kalanithi, exploring how his story of illness, purpose, and mortality invites us to think about what gives life meaning.

This is an informal, welcoming space open to everyone — whether you’re new to Logotherapy, beginning your training, or simply curious about how literature can deepen our understanding of meaning. Our book choices will be wide-ranging — from novels to biography and history — all read through the lens of Logotherapy’s central question: how do we find meaning, even (or especially) in the face of life’s challenges?

If you’d like to let us know you’re planning to join, please email the facilitator, Jennifer Caligary, at logotherapybookgroup@gmail.com so we can share a few of the reflective questions we’ll be exploring during the meeting. (There’s absolutely no requirement to do so — you’re very welcome to just come along.)

We look forward to being part of this first conversation with you, and to beginning a series of gatherings where story, reflection, and meaning meet.
